WCT is dedicated to the community
Our mission is to enhance the community with the performing arts. We do this by performing shows, keeping theater fun for audience and cast alike and by providing opportunities to mentor and learn all aspects of theater.

About Us

We've been producing plays for 7 years but have been doing this for many years before that. We have a treasure trove of experience which we have successfully used to put up amazing shows. We believe theater helps create community and welcome everyone to join us. Our greatest compliment is that all casts we've hosted have said the experience and family-like atmosphere was the best part of the production.  We create shows that audiences love and casts are grateful they were a part of.
Our Mantra for Partcipants:
Respect for actors:
  • we are all volunteers, so use people's time wisely
  • many heads are better than one and we expect our actors to be creatively involved throughout
  • schedule and goal oriented; you will receive a complete schedule within the first two weeks of rehearsals, and we'll stick to it
  • enjoy everyone's company by helping make the work enjoyable, and provide opportunies for the cast to spend time together 
  • the only good drama belongs on-stage so treat people well and we expect the same from everyone else
